Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and The main influence of POC Papaya Waste and NPK 16:16:16 on Growth California Papaya. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Riau Islamic University Agriculture for two months starting from February 2021 - May 2021. The design used in this study is Completely Randomized Design (CRD) by factorial consisting of two factors, The first factor is POC Papaya Waste (P) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 45, 90, and 135 ml/liter of planting water. The second factor is NPK 16:16:16 (N) consisting of 4 levels are 0 ; 0.5 ; 1 and 1.5 g per plant. Each treatment combination consists of of 3 replications, so that 48 experimental units were obtained. Observed parameters are plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, plant wet weight, weight plant dryness, root volume, root crown ratio and number of roots. Data The observations were statistically analyzed and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results show that the interaction of Papaya Waste POC and NPK 16:16:16 significant effect on all observation parameters, the best treatment found in POC treatment of Papaya Waste 135 ml/L and NPK 16:16:16 1.5 g/ plants (P3N3). The main effect of Papaya Waste POC and NPK 16:16:16 is real against all parameters, the best treatment is in the POC . treatment Papaya Waste 135 ml/L (P3). The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 is real on all parameters, the best treatment was found in the NPK treatment 16:16:16 1.5 g/ plants (N3).
