Abstract

This research was conducted in Tualang District, Siak Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out how the effectiveness of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) empowerment program at PT. Indah Kiat Pulp And Paper Tbk. Perawang (study of agriculture) in Tualang District. The usefulness of this research is to be used as input and improvement for local governments to improve existing regulations. This research uses quantitative method with descriptive type. The population and samples used in this study were the Chief CSR Officer, the Head of CSR Unit Forum, the Tualang District Agricultural Extension Center (BPP), and members of CSR assisted farmers PT. IKPP. Agricultural Extension Center Tualang Subdistrict (BPP) using saturated sampling technique, for members of CSR assisted farmers using purposive sampling technique. This research uses indicators of program understanding, right on target, on time, achievement of goals, and real change. From every research conducted on indicators, the conclusion of the effectiveness of the empowerment program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT. Indah Kiat Pulp And Paper Tbk. Perawang (study in agriculture) in Tualang District is in the less effective category. This is due to several things that need to be considered in implementing the empowerment of CSR programs in the agricultural sector to achieve a good level of effectiveness. For example, it is necessary to coordinate with related parties, including PPL, CSR forum, and other related parties so that participation will increase, there is a need for socialization to the community about the program being implemented so that people understand the program, the training provided is still low and needs to be done. an increase in empowerment.
