Abstract

This study is entitled Implementation of Culture and Arts Learning (Rentak Bulian Dance) in class VIII.I of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2019/2020. The problem of this research is How is the Implementation of Culture and Arts Learning (Rentak Bulian Dance) in class VIII.I of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2019/2020? This study aims to determine the implementation of learning cultural arts (rent Bulian dance) in class VIII.I of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The theory used in this study is to use the theory of Nana Sudjana (2012) with supporting theories of Wina Sanjaya (2013). The learning components in this study are the curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans (RPP), learning objectives, learning materials / materials, tools / media and learning methods and learning evaluation. The learning implementation consists of three stages including introduction, core and closing activities. Rentak Bulian dance learning materials in class VIII.I SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru with 6 meetings with a time allocation of 40 minutes. The learning method uses the lecture method, the discussion method, the demonstration method and the peer tutoring method using a scientific approach. The evaluation is carried out using two techniques, namely written evaluation and practical evaluation with a KKM value of 82. The curriculum used in the learning process is the 2013 curriculum. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation with 37 research subjects, namely 1 cultural arts teacher and 36 students of class VIII. Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.
