Abstract

In a sale and purchase agreement via the internet or online, it is no different from conventional buying and selling. The system for buying and selling online has been regulated in accordance with the procedures established by each e-commerce or media and existing sites. Online sales agreements made by minors, generally the goods that are the object of the agreement are goods that are not too expensive in value, so there are no rules regarding the age limit in online selling transactions that are set. The main problems in this study are: 1) How is the validity of online buying and selling transactions carried out by minors according to the Civil Code. 2) How to solve the Default committed by minors in online buying and selling transactions. This type of research is included in field research called survey sosiologis law, where in this study the authors directly examined the research location using data collection tools in the form of interview data and questionnaires. The nature of this study describes a study that describes an event or reality that occurs systematically in a sale and purchase agreement via the internet carried out by minors in the Bukit Raya sub-district, Pekanbaru City. Based on the results of this study, the validity of buying and selling transactions carried out by minors through the internet is still valid. This can be seen even though it is different in the legal system, but the agreement is made because of a prior agreement between the parties. Where when you want to make the transaction. Based on the results of the research that the author did, it is known that the implementation of buying through the internet provides a lot of convenience for consumers, but in reality what happened was carried out well because of the lack of honest and clear information about the goods, as well as the existence of consumers who did not get goods of good quality. as well as the lack of seriousness of the seller as a minor in buying and selling so that they are vulnerable to default. Settlement of default is done by making compensation, but not a few also disappear without any compensation.
