Abstract

Faberto Khaliriu (154110199), Effect of Organic Coconut Fiber and NPK Liquid Fertilizers 16:16:16 on Growth and Production of Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L). This research has been carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution Km 11, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City for 4 months from July - October 2019. The research objective was to determine the interaction and main effects of Coir Liquid Organic Fertilizers. Coconut and NPK 16:16:16 Against Growth and Production of Shallots. The study used a Factorial Complete Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor is Liquid Coconut Fiber Organic Fertilizer which consists of four levels and the second factor is NPK 16:16:16 which consists of four levels so that 16 treatment combinations are obtained. Each treatment combination consisted of 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units (plots). Each plot consisted of 25 plants and 5 plants were randomly sampled. The entire experimental unit consisted of 1200 plants. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age of harvest, number of tubers, tuber wet weight, tuber dry weight, and tuber weight loss. Data were analyzed statistically and continued at 5% BNJ level. The results showed the interaction and main of Organic Coconut Fiber and NPK 16:16:16 Organic Fertilizer affect all parameters with the best combination of organic coconut liquid liquid fertilizer 250 ml / l water and NPK 16:16:16 30 g / plot.
