Abstract
The theory used by Sanjaya and Oemar Hamalik. The approach used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative data. Cultural arts learning consists of three stages of activities including preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation through learning art and culture. The subjects of this study were one cultural arts teacher and 12 students of class X TKJ SMK Taruna Masmur Pekanbaru for the 2021/2022 academic year. The result of conducting this research is that the curriculum used by Taruna Masmur Vocational High School Pekanbaru has used the 2013 curriculum, and the syllabus used has used the equivalent high school syllabus as determined by the government. The learning method used is the method of discussion, question and answer, and assignments. The material studied is about art criticism with a time allocation of 3 meetings x 3 lesson hours @ 45 minutes. The results of student learning are that students are able to learn fine arts in groups well in class without any art facilities and infrastructure at school, but students learn well, and it can be seen from the results of student evaluations.
