Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is entitled "Aesthetic Values in Bezikei Music Art in Kuala Tolam Village, Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the aesthetic value in Bezikei Music, Kuala Tolam Village, Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the aesthetic value of Bezikei music in the arts of the Kuala Tolam Village community, Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The theory used in this study is the theory of Djelantik and Braginsky in Idawati. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, data display. The subjects in this study amounted to eight people. The results of the research on the aesthetic value of Bezikei music are as follows: it has the value of the beauty of the object consisting of, 1) the value of the form or form of Bezikei music can be seen from the musical instrument, the place of execution and the performer of the arts, 2) the value of the weight or content of Bezikei music produces an atmosphere, message which is conveyed from the meaning of the song, 3) the appearance value obtained from the appearance of the performers of the arts during the implementation of the activity. The value of the beauty of the Bezikei music subject in Kuala Tolam Village that can be assessed, namely: 1) the scope of the beauty, sound and meaning of Bezikei music, 2) the scope of benefits assessed from the benefits of music, 3) the spiritual scope, namely the religious value in Bezikei music. Art enjoyment in Bezikei music is divided into two groups, namely lust (emotions) and intelligence (thoughts).
