Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF ISLAMIC WORK ETHIC AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF AGENTS AT TAKAFUL KELUARGA INSURANCE.Ltd (RO RIAU AGENCY) IN PEKANBARU CITY RIDA RIANTI 172310077 The Islamic work ethic is a fundamental trait in a culture that shows the beliefs or habits of a group, which promotes that an Islamic work ethic is related to organizational culture. Therefore, it is believed that the Islamic work ethic and organizational culture existed in a company will improve the performance of agents, as well as the agents at Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) in Pekanbaru City. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of Islamic work ethic and organizational culture on the performance of agents at Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) in Pekanbaru City. The subject of this study is the agents of Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) in Pekanbaru City with a total of 34 people and the sampling technique used is a saturated sampe. The data collection technique used is the questionnaires through field research. The method of this study is descriptive quantitative research with the data calculation process performed by SPSS 22. The results of the partial test show that the value of the Islamic work ethic variable shows that t-count (2.765) > t-table (1.692) with a significant level of 0.05, and a significance value of 0.010 > 0.05. It means that there is no significant influence of Islamic work ethic on the performance of agents at Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) in Pekanbaru City. The results of partial test of the organizational culture show that the value of t-count (6.567) > t-table (1.692) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. So, it means that there is a positive and significant influence of Islamic work ethic and organizational culture on the performance of agents at Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) in Pekanbaru City. Simultaneously, there is a significant positive influence of Islamic work ethic and organizational culture on the performance of agents at Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) in Pekanbaru City with the result of the coefficient of determination is 0.750 or 75%. Therefore, the management of Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) is suggested to always improve the performance of its agents by applying the concept of Islamic work ethic and organizational culture to all agents at Takaful Keluarga Insurance.Ltd (RO Riau Agency) in Pekanbaru City.
