Abstract

Based on the research that has been conducted at SMKN 1 Padang Gelugur, it is known that the objectives are to determine: The effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on the interest in entrepreneurship of class XII students of SMKN 1 Padang Gelugur, Pasaman Regency. In line with the research that has been done, this research uses quantitative research with descriptive methods. the total population is all students of class XII SMKN 1 Padang gelugur as many as 152 students with a sample of 110 respondents. In this study, the variable knowledge of entrepreneurship as the independent variable and students' interest in entrepreneurship as the dependent variable. The data collection technique of this research was carried out using questionnaires and documentation and prerequisite tests were carried out, namely: normality test and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurial knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship in class XII students of SMKN 1 Padang Gelugur, which is indicated by the results of linear regression, namely Y = 90.039 + 0.122X, with a t-count value of 2.461 > t-table 1.984 and a significance value of 0.015 < 0.05. and the significant value of determination (R^2) is 23.0% which is influenced by the two variables and the remaining 77.0% is influenced by other variables.
