Abstract

ABSTRACT Leadership in Teaching Malay by Tenas Effendi (Case Study Regent of Pelalawan) By: Aulia Fadliatul Azhar NPM: 167310161 Malay The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of leadership in Malay teaching and learning by Tenas Effendi and to determine whether or not the leader of the Pelalawan regent applied the basics of leadership from the contents of the Malay teaching and learning. This research is classified as literature research and uses qualitative methods, namely research based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine the condition of natural objects. This study uses data sources that are classified into two parts, namely primary and secondary data. The results of the research based on a literature study show that from his biography, namely, Tengku Nasyaruddin Said Effendy or known as Tenas Effendy. From the results of the study, leadership in Malay teaching and learning includes the following characters, namely Shidiq, Amanah, Fathanah, Tabligh. The results of the study indicate that several cases of Amanah deviation by H. Muhammad Haris and also violate several leadership characteristics in Malay teaching and learning, namely Amal leaders, Jantan leaders, Honest leaders, Asin leaders and Foster leaders. But he holds the character of a Clever leader.
