Abstract

Abstract The Effect of Nurse Therapeutic Communication on Elderly Satisfaction at UPT PSTW Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru Maria Agustha 169110190 This study aims to determine how the influence of Nurse Therapeutic Communication on Elderly Satisfaction at UPT PSTW Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru. To provide a satisfaction to users of products/services is influenced by several factors, one of which is the quality of service. The quality of services provided in health services cannot be separated from the role of nurses who are always near the patient for 24 hours. This makes nurses need to have special skills in order to achieve service satisfaction for patients, one of which is by mastering therapeutic communication so that nurses can become effective communicators in carrying out the communication process. In this study, researchers used survey research methods with a quantitative approach. To obtain research data using total sampling technique and obtained by 55 respondents. The data obtained from the sample was tested with Cronbach's Alpha which shows that each coefficient. Cronbach's alpha for each hemisphere is 0.614 for hemisphere I and 0.795 for hemisphere II. Because the value of the reliability coefficient in both methods is greater than 0.60 ma, this value indicates that the items in the questions in this study are considered reliable. The results showed that the therapeutic communication of the UPT PSTW nurse Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru was good (positive). Judging from the influence model, nurse therapeutic communication significantly affects the satisfaction of the elderly at UPT PSTW Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru.
