Abstract

THE PRINCIPAL'S LEADERSHIP ROLE IN IMPROVING TEACHER PERFORMANCE PROFESSIONAL AT SDN 143 PEKANBARU Linda Novisusanti 176910377 Skripsi Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar FKIP Universitas Islam Riau Supervisor: Elpri Darta Putra, S.Pd., M.Pd. ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how the principal's leadership planning in improving the performance of professional teachers at SDN 143 Pekanbaru and to find out how the constraints of the principal's leadership in improving the performance of professional teachers at SDN 143 Pekanbaru. This type of descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data in the study was done by triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the principal's leadership role in improving the performance of professional teachers at State Elementary School 143 Pekanbaru by using the principal's indicators as managerial, entrepreneurship development, and supervision is going quite well. The obstacles that researchers can encounter in the field are limited educational facilities, lack of discipline, and lack of human resources.
