Abstract
This study aims to determine the level of service quality objective of managing birth certificates at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The service evaluation indicators used include tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. The type of assessment located in the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kuantan Singingi Regency is a descriptive survey, with a quantitative method prioritizing questionnaires as a tool for collecting data and data collected with this tool and then becomes the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions of the objective existence of research objectives on location careful. There are two groups, namely population and sample in this study, namely, the head of service numbered 1 person, the head of the birth certificate numbered 1 person, employees of the birth certificate numbered 5 people, with a total number of 7 people, and the people who administered birth certificates were infinite. The community in this case are those who are preparing a birth certificate. The sample size determined from these two population groups is 7 employees and 60 people. The two sampling techniques used in determining individual samples are census techniques and for employee populations and incidental sampling techniques for population populations. The types and data collection techniques used consist of, primary data collected using questionnaire and interview list techniques and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is by using a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique the researcher assessed and concluded that the Quality of Service for the Management of Birth Certificates at the Kuantan Singingi Regency Population and Civil Registration Service Office was at a fairly good interval. Recommendations that need to be considered are mainly related to the performance of employees who are inadequate and lack of speed in making birth certificates need to be increased so that they help the community in the process of arranging birth certificates.
