Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and stress in students who are preparing their thesis. The subjects in this study were muslim students who were preparing their thesis. There were 97 research subjects taken using purposive sampling technique. The hypothesis in this study is there is a relationship between religiosity and stress in students who are preparing their thesis. The data collected using two measuring tools given to the subject, namely the stress scale compiled based on the theory of stress from Selye (in Hardjana, 2006), and the scale of religiosity is arranged based on the religiosity aspect proposed by Glock and Stark (in Ancok & Suroso, 2001). Data were analyzed using the Spearman rank order correlation test in which the value of r = 0.226 with Sig = 0.26 (p> 0.05) showed that there was no significant relationship between religiosity and stress in students who were preparing their thesis. Thus, the hypothesis is rejected.
