Abstract

THE ROLE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLEANLINESS AGENCIE IN WASTE MANAGEMENT IN THE CITY OF DUMAI ABSTRAC OLEH IMAM CAHYO LAKSONO this study aims to determine the role of the environmental service in waste management in the city of Dumai. this type of research uses a qualitative method by means of a survey, which prioritizes the list of interviews as a data collection tool which is the main raw material for observing the research location. the research is located on jalan Brig. Gen. HR Soebrantas, Dumai City. there are key informants and informants in this study, namely the head of the waste handling section, the head of the neighborhood association (RT), and the garbage transport worker. the three data collection techniques used consisted of primary data which was collected through a list of interviews and results of field research and secondary data were collected in the form of reports and notes and documents. based on this observation technique, the researcher assesses and concludes that the role of environmental and hygiene service in waste management.
