Abstract
Seeing the practice of buying and selling online which is increasingly widespread in Indonesia, it is very beneficial for the community as consumers in choosing various types of services and/or goods, but violations of consumer rights are very possible considering that online buying and selling has different characteristics from conventional transactions, thus opening up opportunities. the existence of bad practices from business actors or third parties related to consumer protection in the event of a loss by the consumer. As in the case of many buyers who submit refunds to orders such as not reaching the buyer's hands due to the length of time the sender of the expedition or has not been sent by the buyer, the order does not match the description, the order is incomplete, the order does not arrive in the hands of the buyer and other things where the buyer can apply for a refund. The main problems in this research are: What are the Responsibilities of the Market Place in the Settlement of Online Shopping Refunds and How is the Settlement of the Market Place in Refunds (Analysis of PT. Shopee Internasional Indonesia) The research method used in this research is research: observational research which is carried out by means of a survey, namely by direct research to the research location using data collection tools in the form of interviews. And this research is descriptive, which provides a clear and detailed description of the main problem under study There must be an update of rules in consumer protection or in Electronic Transactions regarding how to return funds, goods or the like clearly so that no consumer party feels aggrieved. And on consumer complaints regarding refunds, and changing the goods refund system or the like according to the wishes of consumers, and providing consumers with choices, refunds will be made through shopeepay or via other electronic transactions. And procedures that must make it easier for consumers and there is certainty regarding refunds to consumers.
