Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE PUJUD BOARD OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA (BPKep) IN KEPENGHULUAN SIARANG-ARANG PUJUD DISTRICT ROKAN HILIR REGENCY ABSTRACT SITI KHODIJAH Key Words: Implementation, Kepenghuluan Consultative Body (BPKep) The Penghuluan Consultative Body (BPKep) in the Rokan Hilir Regency Regulation Number 11 of 2015 In Article 1 Paragraph 7, namely an institution that carries out government functions whose members are representatives of the Penghuluan population based on regional representation which is determined democratically. There are three functions of BPKep, namely discussing and agreeing on the draft regulation on Penghulu with the Penghulu, accommodating and channeling the aspirations of the community, and monitoring the performance of the Penghulu. The purpose of this study was to find out more about the Implementation of the Functions of the Penghuluan Consultative Body (BPKep) in the Siarang-Arang Kepenghuluan, Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This study uses Westra's theory with four indicators, namely implementing all plans, policies that have been formulated, completing all the needs and tools needed, and finally who will implement it. This research was carried out using a Descriptive Survey Type with a Quantitative Method which explains the actual situation obtained in the research and the data obtained is used as a reference in analyzing each variable indicator used in this study. Then the sampling technique used is the census sampling technique, and the data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, the next type of data that the author uses is primary data and secondary data. For the results of this study, all respondents' answers to the questionnaire were in the Sufficiently Implemented category, but in this study, according to the author, there is still a lot that must be improved in the implementation of the Functions of the Penghuluan Consultative Body. available so that the performance of BPKep itself does not become effective and efficient.
