Abstract
This research aims at how to self-conceptualize non-Muslim students at the Faculty of Communication Sciences Universitas Islam Riau. The concept of self established in a person aims to see the development of a person's behavior, also a person's feelings about him. The concept of self that a student has leads to assessing and knowing what kind of character, behavior and how he feels satisfied is accepting himself fully. And this research uses qualitative methods aimed at explaining the phenomenon with profuse using sampling techniques to search for subjects according to criteria that researchers expect to get answers to questions and Use qualitative descriptive research to conclude information about a symptom displayed as it is at the time of research. The source of this research data is obtained from the primary data that is obtained directly from the observation and interviews with pre-defined informant, and secondary data obtained from books, journals and the Internet. The results of this study showed that the development of non-Muslim student concept is developed, because there is a concept of interaction with people that shows that non-Muslim students are comfortable interacting with Muslim students and from The ongoing interaction poses a positive impact on him, such as creating a sense of courtesy, friendly, and gentle in speaking.
