Abstract
Resilience in a former drugs addicts is a an ability to thrive through the difficult time of drugs addiction, and one of the important factors that influence resilience among former drugs addicts is family social support. This study aimed to determine the relationship between family social support and the resilience among former drugs addicts. Method the data were collected using 25 item resilience scale and family social support scale consists of 37 item, which distributed to 35 former drugs addicts who had been rehabilitated in SIKLUS Foundation. The sampling technique was Quota Sampling. The data analysis method used is product moment. Based on the analysis test the results show that there is a positive relationship between family social support and resilience in a former drugs addicts with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,777 and a significant value (p) with a significant level (p) 0,000 (p <0.05). This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. So the higher family's social support, the resilience of a former drugs addicts become positive. So did the opposite, the lower family's social support, the resilient of the former drugs addicts become negative.
