Abstract

This research is motivated by the low spiritual intelligence students, such as lack of observance in carrying out fard prayer and the lack of memorization of the surah of the Qur'an. Students require parental guidance, because parents are responsible for the child's guidance. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is influence Parental Guidance on Spiritual Intelligence of Class VIII Students at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Bustanul Ulum Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study To determine the effect of Parental Guidance on Intelligence Spiritual. This research is a quantitative research with approach correlation. Data analysis techniques using simple linear regression techniques, research involved 110 populations, ways to collect data with using questionnaires and documentation. From the results of hypothesis testing with values significance that is p = 0.000 <0.05 can be interpreted as an influence of guidance parents towards spiritual intelligence. The magnitude of its influence can be seen in summary table with an R square value of 0.817% or 81.7%. this matter shows that parental guidance is influenced by spiritual intelligence amounted to 81.7% with very strong criteria. While the remaining 100% - 81.7% = 18.3% influenced by other factors. Then the results can be concluded This research is that there is an influence of parental guidance on spiritual intelligence of students. While the remaining 100% - 81.7% = 18.3% at influenced by other factors.
