Abstract

ABSTRACT ix Rizki Aridho, 2021. The Level of Motivation of the Sports Community During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Empat Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of the research carried out was to determine the level of community motivation to exercise during the covid-19 pandemic in Empat Balai Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach that aims to provide a systematic description of the ongoing state of the object of research, namely the level of community motivation to exercise during the COVID-19 pandemic in Empat Balai Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency. The population in this study was the entire community of Empat Balai Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency who had a hobby of exercising. The determination of the sample in this study was carried out by purposive sampling, namely the selection of the sample was only done by determining the group of subjects taken from the population as a sample whose characteristics had been determined. The population in this study was the people of the Village of Empat Balai 100 people while the sample was 27 people. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions obtained are: the level of motivation of the people of Empat Balai Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency to exercise during the covid-19 pandemic is relatively high with an average value of 65% which lies in the percentage range between 65% - 75% said to be "high ” on the assessment criteria.
