Abstract

The problem statement of this researcher is How is the Teaching of Cultural Arts (Dance) in the 2013 Curriculum in Class X IPS of SMA Negeri 2 Kubu Babussalam, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province in 2019/2020 Academic Year? The purpose of this research is to Know the Teaching of Cultural Arts (Dance) in the 2013 Curriculum in class X IPS SMA Negeri 2 Kubu Babussalam, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province, Academic Year 2019/2020. In this study the authors used a descriptive analysis method based on qualitative data, the subject of this study was the art and culture teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Kubu Babussalam, data collection was done using interview techniques, documentation, observation. Then the data collected is analyzed and classified by presenting the data, reducing the data, and finally drawing conclusions from the data. The results showed that the teaching of art and culture (dance) in the 2013 curriculum conducted by the teacher had been going quite well, only the lack of socialization obtained by the teacher led to an understanding of the concept of K13, which was only limited to the material contained in the teaching of art and culture (dance) ). The teaching theory according to Bambang Suhendrojhen, is divided into curriculum, syllabus, learning implementation plan (RPP), methods, materials / contents, facilities and infrastructure, assessment / evaluation.
