Abstract

This research was conducted on the players of the Siasam Selection Football Association, Pendalian IV Koto sub-district, Rokan Hulu Regency, which amounted to 18 people. This study aims to obtain an overview of the relationship between speed and ability to dribble, the relationship between agility and dribbling ability, and the relationship between speed and agility in general. together on the dribbling ability of the Siasam Selection Football Association players. The method used is descriptive correlational method, because basically this study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between the variables and also to see the existing relationship. Instruments Research data collection was carried out by measuring the speed with an acceleration test of 30 meters. To measure agility, the Illinois Agility Run test was carried out. Furthermore, the ability to dribble is carried out by a dribbling test. From the analysis of the data for speed on the ability to dribble, it is found that t_count > t_table is 8.889 > 2,120 so it can be said that there is a significant relationship between speed and the ability to dribble football players of the Siasam Selection Football Association. From the analysis of the data for agility to the ability to dribble, it is found that t_count > t_table is 8,889 > 2,120 so it can be said that there is a significant relationship between speed and ability to dribble football players of the Siasam Selection Football Association. From the data analysis of speed and agility on the ability to dribble, it is found that t_count> t_table is 5,308 > 2,120, so it can be said that there is a significant relationship between speed and agility in soccer players of the Siasam Selection Football Association, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between speed and agility on the ability to dribble the players of the Siasam Selection Football Association, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency.
