Abstract
This research object is the Blacksmith Business located in Rumbio Jaya District, Kampar Regency. This research aims to determine the appropriateness of the accounting application in the Blacksmith Business in Rumbio Jaya District, Kampar Regency with the basic concpets of accounting. Primary data and secondary data are the data used in this research, while the data collection techniques used are literature study, structured interviews, documentation and observation. If the data has been collected, the data will be analyzed using descriptive methods. By using the descriptive method, the results of this research and discussion can be concluded that the records carried out by the blacksmith businessman are not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
