Abstract

This study aims to determine the Supervision of the Department of Industry and Trade in the Management of merchant registration cards. This research uses descriptive research using quantitative methods because researchers want to describe phenomena that occur in the field at certain times and want to get accurate data. By taking samples using census techniques and Randowm sampling techniques where the technique of taking samples is done randomly without regard to strata that exist in the population. Researchers use indicators from Mockler in Zulkifli (2005: 256) about supervision namely standards, comparing performance according to standards and taking improvements. Supervision is a systematic effort to set standards with planning goals, design information feedback systems, compare the performance of predetermined standards with actual performance, determine whether they contain significant deviations and measure attackers, and take corrective assistance needed to find company resources which is used wherever possible more effective and efficient. the results of the study show that the overall indicator for the street vendors who have owned a card with a score of 180 on a scale of 180-300 is categorized as underperforming, whereas for the overall indicator on the traders who have inventory on a total score of 192 on a scale of 180-300 categorized on " less done"
