Abstract

This study aimed to determine the Extracurricular Coaching of Dance Lenggang Patah Sembilan Class VII at SMPN 3 Kampar Kiri Hilir Regency Kampar Riau Province. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method of analysis using qualitative data because This method involves directly the object under study. This research a lot interact with teachers and students who are used as samples, research locations at SMPN 3 Kampar Kiri Hilir Kampar Regency, Riau Province. From the results research, extracurricular research findings are held for develop student talent in the field of dance. Coaching material at SMPN 3 Kampar Kiri Hilir Kampar Regency, Riau Province, namely the Lenggang Patah dance Nine. The method used in extracurricular coaching is lecture and demonstration methods. Facilities and Infrastructure at SMPN 3 Kampar Kiri Downstream of Kampar Regency, Riau Province includes letop, cellphones, rooms and speaker. Direct assessment during the training process, assessment direct discipline is given qualitatively. Research results in coaching extracurricular art of lenggang broken nine dance at SMPN 3 Kampar Hilir Hilir Kampar Regency, Riau Province can be seen from a cognitive perspective, affective, psychomotor results from the extracurricular training of the lenggang dance broken Nine at SMPN 3 Kampar Kiri Hilir Kampar Regency, Riau Province can achieve coaching goals that students are able to develop quality, students' interests and talents are one material that can be used for grades additional. In the results of extracurricular research, broken dance dance Nine students got an A grade of 4 out of a total of 10 students follow the extracurricular.
