Abstract

This study aims to describe the Efforts of Cultural Arts Teachers in Motivating Students Against Cultural Arts Learning (Kuala Deli Dance) in Class X of SMA Negeri 1 Mandau in Improving Student Learning Ability. The theory that the authors take is the opinion of Sadirman and Ramayulis. The method by the author is a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. This study was not directly involved in the activity, the researchers only observed the efforts of the Cultural Arts Teacher in Motivating Students Against Cultural Arts Learning (Kuala Deli Dance) in Class X of SMA Negeri 1 Mandau in Improving Student Learning Ability. Data collection techniques used in this study were Observation techniques, Interview techniques, Documentation techniques and Data analysis techniques. The results of this study concluded that the Efforts of Art and Culture Teachers in Motivating Students Against Cultural Arts Learning (Kuala Deli Dance) in Class X of SMA Negeri 1 Mandau in Improving Student Learning Abilities, namely 1) gave a score. 2) Prizes. 3) Competition or Competition. 4) Ego - innovation. 5) Deuteronomy. 6) Knowing Results. 7) Praise. 8) Punishment. 9). A desire to learn. 10) Interests. 11) recognized goals.
