Abstract
This study aims to determine the Rentak Bulian Dance in the Teaching of Culture and Dance in class XI IA.4, SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru with the ATM Method (observe, copy, modify), question and answer, group discussion. Preliminary observations of the study obtained information about the biodata of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru and also the history of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, is one of the State Senior High Schools located at Jl. Bawal No 43, Pekanbaru, Riau Province, Indonesia. The curriculum used by SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru is Curriculum 13 (K13) which has been established by the school. Data collection techniques are Observation, Interview and Documentation. The research subjects were 36 people in class XI IA.4 and 1 art and culture teacher. The type of data used are primary data and secondary data. Through the method used, also by using a syllabus, lesson plans made by the teacher are adjusted to the syllabus. And also the Evaluation or Assessment used in the teaching of the Arts and Culture of Rentak Bulian Dance can get good results on student learning at school. And this study uses 3 aspects of assessment namely cognitive, affective, psychomotor aspects of the demonstration method can also be used that is a way of presenting lessons by demonstrating or showing students a certain process, situation or object that is being studied both in actual form and in the form of imitation shown by teachers or other learning resources who are experts in the topic "(Mulyani Sumantri, in Roetiyah 2001: 82).
