Abstract

Dance extracurricular activities in SMAN 1 Kampar specifically are research conducted to find out the implementation of dance extracurricular covering the objectives, materials, facilities, infrastructure and assesments in dance etracurriculer activities. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method, using qualitative data. Subjects in this study were 10 people consisting of 9 student with 1 trainer. The lacation of the study was conducted at SMAN 1 Kampar on the study jalan pekanbaru-bangkinang, kampar regency. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques, non-participant observation techniques, and documentation techniques that is seeing and knowing directly the implemention of dance extracurricular activities in SMAN 1 Kampar. The result of the research being taught is pasombahan kampar dance. The methods used in extracurricular learning are lecture, demonstrstion and pratice methods. Students are very active in dance extracurricular activities. Facilities and infrastucture are very adequate and support the implementation of extracurricular activities. The researcher can conclude that the implementation of dance extracurricular activities in SMAN 1 Kampar is going well the help of various parties from the motivation of parents, principals who have provided facilities and infrastrukture, trainers who arrange extracurricular programs, and prepare learning materials and methods, and members of the arts dance which almost all have talent and high learning motivation.
