Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) in Pangkalan Kuras in February 2021 until completion. The formulation of the problem from this research is whether the provision of incentives has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) in Pangkalan Kuras. This research is motivated by the provision of incentives is very important to note, because this is related to the work results of employees in doing their jobs. The purpose of this study was to determine the incentives given to employees, employee performance at PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP), as well as the magnitude of the effect of incentives on improving the work performance of employees of PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) in Pangkalan Kuras. In this study, the population is employees of PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) amounted to 52 people while the sample amounted to 43 people. The data analysis method used is the interview and questionnaire method with the results of a simple linear regression equation test with the help of SPSS program tools. The results of this study eplain that the incentive variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) in Pangkalan Kuras. Based on the calculation of the correlation value of incentives has a positive relationship of 0.742 or 74.2% with a significance level of 1%. While the value of the coefficient of determination is known that the value of the correlation or relationship (R) is 0.742. From the output, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.551. Which implies that the influence of the independent variable (incentive) on the dependent variable (job achievement) is 55.1%.
