Abstract

This study aims to analyze promotions at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru, to analyze purchasing decisions at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru, to analyze the influence of promotions on purchasing decisions at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru. Research variables are promotions and purchasing decisions. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative research with descriptive methods. The location of this research is at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru. The research sample is Tjokro Hotel customers, totaling 100 people. Probability sampling and incidental sampling techniques The data of this study were sourced from primary data obtained through filling out questionnaires by customers and interview results. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the promotion carried out by Tjokro Hotel consists of the promotion of print media and electronic media. Promotions carried out by Tjokro Hotel include sales promotion, advertising, public relations, personal selling and online marketing. The purchasing decisions of Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru customers are influenced by need recognition, information seeking, alternative evaluation and buying decisions, promotions affect purchasing decisions. It can be concluded that if the promotion can be increased then the purchase decision will also increase well. Conversely, if the promotion is not optimal then the purchase decision is also not optimal.
