Abstract
The cementing process is very important in oil and gas drilling operations, whether or not the quality of the cement bond can be determined by the value of a cement compressive strength and shear bond strength. Waste from corncob and coconut is quite a lot, and only a little used. This test was conducted to utilize corncob and coconut to be an additive carbon which is expected to improve and to determine its effect on compressive strength and shear bond strength in class G drilling cement. To find out the effect of adding additive carbon to corncob and coconut branch, testing was carried out with a concentration of 0%, 1,5%, 2.%, 3%, and 3.5% By Weight Of Cement (BWOC). After the cement suspense is finished, the cement suspense is poured into the mold and put into a water bath to be dried for 24 hours. After drying the sample will be tested for loading using a hydraulic press. Based on testing of compressive strength and shear bond strength with additive carbon corncob and coconut on class G cement, the maximum yield obtained was at a concentration of 3%. Where the compressive strength of corncob obtained is 1404.863Psi and for the shear bond strength obtained is 270,191Psi.Further,compressive strength of coconut branch obtained is 1248,88 Psi and shear bond strength obtained is 265,87 Psi.
