Abstract
School well being is a student's subjective assessment of the fulfillment of their basic needs in school which includes having (school conditions), loving (social relations), being (self-fulfillment) and health (health status). This study aims to determine the difference between school well being on full day school and half day school students. The subjects of this study are 136 students of YLPI Junior High School and 136 students of Junior High School of 37 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique in this study uses proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The process of collecting data uses Konu and Rimpela's school well being scale which has been modified by the researcher. While the statistical analysis used in this study is the statistical analysis of the independent sample ttest. Hypothesis testing has been carried out using SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. The results shows that there are differences between school well being of full day school students and half day school students with a significant 0,000 (p <0.05), meaning that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. There is a difference in school well being on full day school students (mean: 91.35) and half day school students (mean: 102.79).
