Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of the development of acts of violence committed by teachers against school students in the District of Kubu. This research uses qualitative research methods. The location of the research that the writer took was Rokan Hilir Regency, Kubu Subdistrict, Teluk Merbau Subdistrict in SD 004 Tanjung Lumba-Lumba. This data and information collection technique is done by sampling, observation and documentation. In this study, the authors used key informants and key informants namely victims of violence, perpetrators, victims' families, principals (to taste), investigators (to taste), BK teachers (counseling guidance), experts (to taste). The analysis technique that I use is descriptive technique. Based on the results of the study can be collected that the internal factors, or factors that cause children to become targets of violence. That is because children as individuals are weak and the lowest social structure in schools makes violent criminals commit violence against these children. The condition of students who are naughty and unstable also triggers these acts of violence. External factors that cause violence in children in schools are the school system and teaching system. The absence of rules that are really appropriate to prohibit punishments of violence for children makes educators feel facilitated to do all the actions that the argument is so that children learn better, of course violence is not the right way. Another external factor is the teaching instructor's method. The view held by the perpetrators in educating their students is one of the reasons that makes them physically abuse in educating their students.
