Abstract

The Use of YouTube Social Media as a Learning Media for Video Editing Among Members of Audio Visual Fikom, Islamic University of Riau Wendy Septri Nanda 159110250 YouTube Social Media is widely used as a learning medium among members of the Audio Visual Fikom (AVF) of the Islamic University of Riau in utilizing YouTube social media. the use of YouTube Social Media as a learning media for Video Editing among members of the Audio Visual Fikom (AVF) of the Islamic University of Riau New Media is a medium that uses other media besides air, while the content remains broadcaster. So from this definition, there are two media that fall into the New Media category, namely cable television and the internet, which in this case is streaming. , social media is an Online media where users can easily participate, share, and create content including Blogs, social networks, Wikis, forums and Virtual worlds. Blogs, Wikis, and social networks, especially Facebook and YouTube, are the most common forms of social media used by people all over the world. Qualitative research is research that explains and analyzes human behavior individually and in groups, principles or beliefs, understandings or thoughts, and perceptions or assumptions. From the aspect regarding the use of YouTube social media as a learning media for Video Editing among members of the Auido Visual Fikom (AVF) Riau Islamic University (UIR) it can be seen that by utilizing YouTube social media among members of Audio Visual Fikom (AVF) it is very helpful in fulfilling Video Editing lessons. . In addition to utilizing the researchers, they also hope that the Audio Visual Fikom (AVF) will create Video Editing Tutorial content so that all matters of the general audience of YouTube users can be used.
