Abstract

This research was motivated by the phenomenon as a source benefit to increase society economic that had been done by government in farm field, fishery, and plantation. Analyzing the potential natural resources at Merangin village that flowed by Kampar River, the government socialized the program about society economic empowerment to support local community economy. The research formulation of the problem questioned to know the level of social economic empowerment at Merangin village based on sharia economic. This was field research with descriptive qualitative type. Data collection technique used documentation and interview. After collecting data, it was analyzed by using qualitative method. Research finding showed that the program about society economic empowerment at Merangin village had been fulfilled from premier category. Farmer sales result was increased, and provision fish seeds and food were easy to find. Whereas the lack of socialization from government and related agencies, also farmer was difficult to find market with competitive price.
