Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of passing and stopping techniques of soccer games through the playing method in class XI IPS 3 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik. This type of research uses classroom action research (CAR). The instruments in this research are planning, cycle I, cycle II, observation, reflection, and test. Based on the learning done in the first cycle and second cycle, the results obtained in the first cycle of 25 students there are 15 students who meet the KKM with a percentage of completeness 60% and those who do not meet the KKM there are 10 students with a percentage of 40%. While in cycle II out of 25 students there were 21 students who met the KKM with a percentage of 84% and those who did not meet the KKM there were 4 students with a percentage of 16%.
