Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of goat urine and urea fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings. This research has been carried out at the Integrated Agriculture Unit of the Islamic University of Riau (UPT-UIR), Jl. School, RT 02/RW 03, Kubang Jaya Village, Kec. Siak Hulu, Kab. Kampar. This research was conducted for 4 months starting from March to July 2021. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Goat Urine (K) consisting of four levels, namely 0, 100, 200 and 300 ml/l water. The second factor Urea (U) consisted of four levels, namely 0, 0.9, 1.8 and 2.7 g/plant. The parameters observed were: increase in plant height, increase in the number of midribs, increase in longest midrib length, increase in stem girth, and root volume. The research data were analyzed statistically and continued with the 5% BNJ test. The results showed that the interaction effect of goat urine and urea fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of midribs and root volume. The best treatment was goat urine 300 ml/l water and urea fertilizer 2.7 g/plant (K3U3). The main effect of goat urine has a significant effect on all observation parameters with the best treatment of 300 ml / l of water (K3). The main effect of urea fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of midribs and root volume with the best treatment of 2.7 g/plant (U3).
