Abstract

In the function of government administration, to create and realize a system of government that is democratic, authoritative and clean which is a priority for the people of Indonesia. The lurah has the duty to assist the camat mentioned in Article 229 of the Law. Number 23 of 2014 that "the Lurah helps the sub-district head to include the administration of government activities in the kelurahan, and carries out empowerment and services to the community and then maintains public order and peace and maintains public servant infrastructure and other points relating to the sub-district assistant's role.” It is interesting for the writer to find out the Lurah's efforts in assisting the Camat in relation to public order matters, so based on the above background the writer examined the title "The Role of the Lurah in Assisting the Camat's Task in Public Order Affairs in Wonorejo Sub-District Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru City in 2018." With the formulation of the problem, what is the role of the lurah in assisting the task of the sub-district head in matters of public order in the Wonorejo sub-district Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru City in 2018 ? What are the inhibiting factors of the lurah in assisting the camat's task in matters of public order in the Wonorejo Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City in 2018 ? This study, the authors used observational research (Non-Doctrinal) or surveys. While seen from its nature is descriptive analytic. The role of the lurah in assisting the camat tasks related to public order in Wonorejo village is well achieved through coordination between government organs and responsive security apparatus, coordination between the camat, lurah and Bukit raya police station in this case the bhabinkamtibmas is well coordinated, the obstacles are well Wonorejo urban village experienced in dealing with public order in the community based on the budget, given the wonorejo urban village in the middle of the city need more budget in overcoming public order because the types of violations of public order that occur vary.
