Abstract

According to Slum Decree Number 878 of 2017, Tanjung Rhu Village which is indicated as a slum area with infrastructure conditions has decreased in quality with a mild slum level with an area of 12.20 hectares spread over four points, namely RT 003-RW 005, RT 006-RW 005, RT 003-RW 007 and RT 004RW 007. Each slum area has different problems, so it is necessary to determine priority areas aimed at improving the quality of infrastructure. This study aims to determine priority areas to improve the quality of infrastructure based on the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 14 of 2018 concerning Prevention and Quality Improvement of Slum Housing and Slum Settlements. The research approach used in this research is deductive. The method in this research is mixed descriptive with qualitative analysis techniques and scoring analysis on aspects and criteria used as research variables. The location of this research is focused on the slum area. The results obtained in this study indicate that the criteria for access to clean water, solid waste management systems, waste management facilities/infrastructure, fire protection facilities and infrastructure and RT 003RW 005 are priority areas in improving infrastructure quality with a score of 27.
