Abstract
Geopark is a management concept for sustainable area development, which integrates three natural diversity, namely geological diversity (geodiversity), biodiversity (biodiversity), and cultural diversity (cultural diversity), with the aim of developing and developing a people's economy based on the principle of protection (conservation) of the three diversity. With the many potential geotourism areas that Indonesia has, Therefore, geological sites (geosites) in each region should be introduced to the outside world with a background of geological knowledge so that later Indonesia is expected to become an independent country in the field of geotourism, because the state of tourism in Indonesia will be very good if developed with geological knowledge (geoparks). ) which exists. The Tanjung Belit Village area of Kampar Kiri Hulu is one of the areas in Indonesia that has a diversity of geotourism potential, namely in the form of: Geomorphological landscape zone (Geomorphological Landscape Zone), Water Play Zone (Water Game Zone) consists of: Tanjung Belit Island, Water Fall Zone (Waterfall Zone) consisting of: Tanjung Belit 1 Waterfall, Tanjung Belit Waterfall 2, Tanjung Belit Waterfall belit 3. This research was conducted to find and determine whether this area is feasible or not to be a Geotourism Potential.
