Abstract
Thesis, Biology Education Study Program, Teaching and Education Faculty Riau Islamic University Advisor, Dra.Suryanti, M.Si ABSTRACT This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic in biology subjects in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Siak Kecil in the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a quantitative research. The method used in this research is a survey method. Data collection in this study was carried out using questionnaires, interview sheets, observation sheets and documentation. The sample in this study were 63 students who were taken from class XI MIA1 and class XI MIA2. The questionnaire distributed consists of 34 question items. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that students' perceptions of the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic in biology subjects in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Siak Kecil Academic Year 2020/2021 based on pedagogical competence in the very good category with a percentage of 81.16%. Seen on the professional competence in the good category with a percentage of 79.54%. It can be concluded that the overall average of students' perceptions of the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic in biology subject for class XI MIA students of SMA Negeri 1 Siak Kecil Academic Year 2020/2021 was in the very good category with a percentage of 80.44% .
