Abstract
This study aims to determine the profile of student learning interest during online learning in biology subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat Barat and SMA Negeri 2 Rengat Barat for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was conducted in November 2020-August 2021. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The method used in this research is a survey method. Collecting data using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The sample in this study was 120 students using saturated sampling technique from class XII science at SMA Negeri 1 and class XI and XII science at SMA Negeri 2 Rengat Barat. The questionnaire distributed consisted of 25 statements. Based on the results of the study showed that the indicators of feeling happy were obtained on average with a percentage of 60.05% and 58.19% in the good enough category, the attention indicator obtained an average of 76.43% and 68.01% in the category good, the interest indicator obtained an average of 78.77% and 71.21% in the good category and the involvement indicator obtained an average percentage of 73.06% and 67.74% in the good category. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' interest in learning during online learning in biology subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat Barat and SMA Negeri 2 Rengat Barat for the Academic Year 2020/2021 are in the good category with percentages of 72.07% and 66.05%, respectively.
