Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries in the world part of the Asian continent which has quite a lot of people, which is around 267 million people. With so many people, of course, they have life needs that must be met. With so many Indonesians who want to work, there is an imbalance between the number of jobs and the number of people who are looking for and needing a job. This sometimes becomes one of the triggers for conflict. The conflict between these prospective workers also occurred in Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. To be precise, there was a labor organization conflict between the Plantation and Agriculture Workers Union Tambusai and the Indonesian Transportation Workers Union Tambusai. The method used in this study was a qualitative method. This qualitative research method aims to describe the actual situation that occurs at the research location by observing, collecting, identifying, and analyzing data, so that answers will be obtained in accordance with the problems formulated in the problem formulation in this study. using Conflict theory with a conservative perspective by Lewis Coser and Ralf Dahrendor. where the conflict that occurs in society is a natural trait because society tends to experience changes that make it change in every role of power over another community group and it will continue to happen. an incident where there was an incident that brought together two groups calling themselves a labor union who were fighting for jobs in an oil palm company in order to be able to provide for their daily food and clothing needs. In fighting over the right to the job they want, there is a conflict that is quite detrimental, both from the labor union or labor union, as well as from the company where they fight for work.
