Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye-foot coordination to the long passing ability of PS Koto Cerenti football players, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This type of research is a correlational study. The population in the study of PS Koto Cirenti players totaling 19 people. The sampling technique was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 19 people. The instruments used are standing broad jump, eye and foot coordination test and soccer long passing test. The data analysis technique is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the long passing ability of the football game in PS Koto Cerenti players, Kuantan Singingi Regency by 25.2%. 2) There is a contribution of eye and foot coordination to the long passing ability of the football game for PS Koto Cerenti players, Kuantan Singingi Regency by 29.8%. 3) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye and foot coordination together to the long passing ability of the football game in PS Koto Cerenti players, Kuantan Singingi Regency by 32.7%.
