Abstract
The teacher is the most important thing in a school, a good teacher is a teacher who has good emotional intelligence, a teacher who has good emotional intelligence will be able to become a good educator too. This study aims to look at the description of Emotional Intelligence in Inclusive Elementary School Teachers in Pekanbaru. This study involved 60 elementary school teachers who were selected by random sampling. The data used a Likert scale consisting of 36 items based on emotional intelligence (α = 0.869). Based on the results of the research the hypothesis in this study is accepted, the emotional intelligence of the teacher is on a high average, which indicates that the teacher has the ability to control himself, motivate and build good relationships with students, especially students with special needs.
