Abstract

Food is one of the basic needs which is very important for humans besides clothing and shelter. Various ways to meet food needs. The beginning of the household provides food for family members by cooking, but along with the development of the times to make lifestyle changes due to time and work factors. Changes in food patterns make the birth of food service businesses such as restaurants, cafes, hotels and especially catering. One of the leading caterers in Pekanbaru City is Roro Catering, which was founded in 2005 by Mr. Priyono, Roro Catering serves a variety of events with different customers. Reservations can be made by telephone or directly come to the catering office. For this order, a catering agreement was created between Roro Catering and the Customer. This study discusses aspects of the agreement in the procurement of consumption between Roro Catering with customers. In this research, it will be investigated namely controlling the implementation of the catering agreement between Roro Catering with the customer, as well as the inhibiting factors that arise in the implementation of the agreement. The research method carried out was observational research conducted by survey. Furthermore, data obtained from interviews with the owner and the leadership of Roro Catering and through a questionnaire that was distributed to Roro Catering customers. The data obtained will be analyzed then the analysis results are arranged and presented systematically and clearly in the form of a thesis. From the results of this study it can be seen about how the implementation of the catering agreement and also the various inhibiting factors that occur in the implementation of the catering agreement as well as losses to Roro Catering and also customers arising from such negligence
