Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of speed to the football dribbling ability of the UIR Soccer School (USS) Under 17 Pekanbaru club. This type of research is correlational research. The population of this research is the football players of the UIR Soccer School (USS) Under 17 Pekanbaru club, totaling 28 players. The sampling technique was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 15 people. The instruments used were the 30 meter sprint test and the soccer dribble test. The data analysis technique is the product moment correlation and the coefficient of determination. The conclusion of this study is that there is a contribution of speed to the football dribbling ability of the UIR Soccer School (USS) Under 17 Pekanbaru club with a percentage of 47.3%.
