Abstract
The Pangean Swordsman Balang silat page is a subsidiary of the page on Pangian itself. This silat is usually performed at weddings and to welcome the month of fasting or to welcome important guests. This study aims to determine how the existence of Siat Pangean Laman pendekar Balang Village Lipai Bulan, Kerumutan District, Riau Province. Collecting data in this study through observation, interviews and documentation. As well as theories that suggest existence, among others, according to Dagun in the book on the philosophy of existentialism (1990:19) states that every thing that exists has an existence or it is an existent. Thus if something is completely unrelated to existence then it also does not appear as an existence at all. What is meant by existence if it has a form of existence, function, inhibiting factor and supporting factor. According to Kierkegaard in the book on the philosophy of existentialism (1990:24) asserts that the first thing that is important for humans is their own condition or existence. around this Lipai Bulan Village itself.
