Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of product performance on consumer buying interest at Meatball Mataram Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru. This research method uses quantitative methods with a survey approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with predetermined criteria with a total of 100 samples. The data analysis technique used the t test and the coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that the product performance at Meatball Mataram Pekanbaru with good category. High buying interest was obtained at Bakso Mataram Pekanbaru with the percentage of respondents' answers to each question item on the questionnaire that had been distributed, in good category. Then, there is an effect between product performance variables on buying interest which is known that the t count is greater than t table (4.646 > 1.664) and the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). It can be generalized that the performance of Bakso Mataram Pekanbaru products can affect the buying interest of its customers, meaning that the better the performance of the product provided, the higher the buying interest for customers, and vice versa.
